A Mother's Cry is a play that travels the arc of life: Love, Hate, Joy, Pain-the dream and the reality. It tells the story of a mother and daughter who share a strong bond that is, suddenly tested. Through the irony of fate, these women are forced to deal with imbedded issues that have created a wedge between them. Hoping for the day of closure, they find strength in one another and discover an element of truth that allows them to carry on through it all.
Writer/Director Tyler Perry of Madea's Family Reunion states, Director Joel King's theatrical play is, "A Job Well Done!"
