Whitaker Music Festival. Evening outdoor concert series presents Mardra and Reggie Thomas, including a Billie Holiday tribute. On the Garden grounds north of the Linnean House.

(Please note that the concert site has moved this summer due to construction of the new Children’s Garden adjacent to the outdoor amphitheater.) 7 p.m. Free. Lawn seating; bring lawn chairs or blankets. Pack a picnic or purchase sandwiches and beverages on site. No pets or barbecue grills
