Trio Nexus

The Chicago-based TRIO NEXUS features pianist Reggie Thomas, bassist Dennis Carroll, and drummer George Fludas. The group is heard regularly in the Chicago area at signature jazz clubs such as Jazz Showcase, and Andy’s Jazz, and at other venues as well as Chicago festivals. Trio Nexus' rhythm section is often heard performing within the legendary Chicago Jazz Orchestra and with other jazz greats around the country. Individually, Trio Nexus has performed and toured with artists such as Eddie Harris, Clark Terry, Lou Donaldson, Betty Carter, Diana Krall, Roy Hargrove, Slide Hampton, Ray Brown, and many more.
